Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy Services

Private occupational therapy services help children, teens, and adults participate more successfully in everyday activities. Therapy may focus on the motor, sensory, cognitive, visual, adaptive, and self-care skills needed for independence, learning, work, routines, and quality of life.

> Fine motor therapy to improve hand strength, coordination, grasp, tool use, and precision skills

> Handwriting and written output support for letter formation, spacing, sizing, endurance, legibility, and classroom participation

> Visual-motor integration and visual-perceptual therapy for copying, tracking, scanning, eye-hand coordination, and functional learning tasks

> Sensory processing and sensory regulation support for attention, participation, transitions, routines, and comfort in daily environments

> Self-regulation and executive functioning strategies for planning, organization, impulse control, emotional regulation, task completion, and independence

> Activities of daily living support, including dressing, grooming, feeding-related routines, hygiene, toileting routines, and personal care skills

> Instrumental daily living skills for older teens and adults, including meal preparation, home routines, time management, money management, community participation, and independent living skills

> Adaptive equipment, environmental modification, and compensatory strategy recommendations to improve access, safety, and participation

> School readiness and classroom participation support for children who need help with attention, motor skills, routines, materials, or learning tasks

> Workplace, community, and adult life skills support for adults who need strategies for organization, endurance, accessibility, adaptive routines, and functional independence

> Motor planning, coordination, balance, and body awareness support for participation in play, learning, self-care, and daily routines

> Caregiver, family, and home program support to promote skill carryover outside the therapy session

Our private therapy model is individualized, compassionate, and goal-focused. We work with clients and families to identify priorities, explain recommendations, monitor progress, and adjust therapy as needs change. When appropriate, we provide home practice suggestions, school or workplace strategy recommendations, and collaboration with other professionals so skills can carry over beyond the therapy session.
